mood board analysis

Audience Mood board

On this mood board I’ve included products that I believe would include that my target audience would own, to build a picture of my target audience. I’ve included Levi jeans as a premium brand in which they aspire to own THE brand of jeans, and generally associated with men, who are my main target audience. I’ve included leather jackets, and aviator sunglasses, as I believe this would be typical of my target audience and how they would dress. I’ve included a collection of bands in which they would be interested, especially this being a music magazine. Jack Daniels is on here also as they are often associated with music and popular culture, in music.

The advertising brands I picked out would be for an audience of ages of 35-40. I picked out premium names as would be associated with such magazines, and the age range in question would be in more senior positions and would be aspiring to these brands. Breitling for example, is a premium watch manufacturer, who is a well established brand, and typically associated with this age range. I’ve included Bowers and Wilkins because they manufacture high end speakers, and with the audience buying this magazine are all music lovers therefore to play it at the highest quality is very important, especially for those audiophiles out there. Boys like their toys, and there’s no bigger boys toy than a car, a lot of men’s pride and joy, and a nice car is important to the kind of audience of my magazine, why I included such brands as Jaguar, BMW and Ferrari.
